Cypress HS: Was a two-time All-Country and 2nd Team All-CIF selection… Voted his team’s Most Valuable Player three years in a row and recorded the most pins two seasons in a row… Went 45-5 at 285 pounds as a senior after recording a 38-5 record his junior year… Won the Edison Tournament and AB Miller Tournament… Spent four years on the wrestling team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he wrestled in his final home dual match… Is working on a minor in Arabic… Would like to transfer to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and aspires to be an aerospace engineer… Hobbies include hiking and running… Speaks fluent Egyptian… His brother Samer (26) was a three-sport athlete at Cypress High… Has two other siblings – Samar (36) and Sara (35)… Is the son of Momtaz and Sozan Mikhaiel… Born in Beni Suef, Egypt on June 10, 2001…..
