El Rancho HS: Posted a 25-10 record as a senior after going 15-8 during his junior season… Did not have a sophomore year due to Covid… Won the Gahr Tournament- at 182 pounds, while he placed second at the Del Rio League championships twice and finished fourth at the Mater Dei Tournament… Spent four seasons on the wrestling team, as well as three years on the track and field team and two seasons with the water polo and cross country teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was posting a 13-2 win at the CIF prelims while injured… Would like to transfer to either Cal Poly Pomona or Cal Poly San Luis Obispo… Aspires to be a civil engineer… His sister Alyssa (21) was an All-American second baseman on the softball team for Cerritos in 2023… Hobbies include playing video games… Is the son of Manuel and Desiree Sotelo… Born in Whittier, CA on October 26, 2005…..
