La Mirada HS: Named All-Suburban League and All-Area as a senior, while earning her team’s Most Valuable Player Award… Garnered the Most Improved Player Award her junior season and was voted the MVP as a freshman… Was coached by former Cerritos volleyball player Linda Reich… Spent four years on the volleyball team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when she recorded 24 kills and 11 blocks against La Serna High… Is working on a minor in child psychology… Enjoys playing sports, surfing and going to the beach in her spare time… Nicknamed “Chels”… Has one brother – Casey (24)… Is the daughter of Glenn and Michelle James… Born in Whittier, CA on September 6, 1993…..
