Cerritos College Volleyball (2014): Will miss the season due to an injury…..

Cerritos College Volleyball (2013): Appeared in 21 matches and finished third on the team with 143 kills and added 68 digs… Had a season-high 14 kills against Palomar College and added 12 kills against College of the Desert… Posted at least four kills in 20 matches on the year… Recorded a season-high 14 digs against Allan Hancock College…..

La Mirada HS: Played for Club Green, SoCal Elite, SoCal Juniors and Fresh Start club teams… Was a two-time All-Suburban League selection… Posted 145 kills, 115 digs, 44 service aces and 25 blocks as a senior after accounting for 44 kills, 32 service aces and 77 digs her junior season… Recorded a season-high 16 kills and five service aces against Norwalk High… Voted the captain as a senior and junior, while earning the Most Improved Player Award as a sophomore… Named the team’s Most Valuable Player as a freshman… Was coached by former Cerritos player Linda Reich…..

Personal: Aspires to be a Special Education teacher… Hobbies include dancing… Has two siblings – William (20) and Joseph (16)… Nicknamed “Val”… Is the daughter of Joe and Kathy Montoya… Born in El Monte, CA on December 2, 1994…..
