Starting her second season on the Falcon coaching staff is Edvige “Gigi” Tisdom, who has served as a head coach at two other community colleges. From 2006-07, Tisdom served as the head coach at Riverside City College, where she led them to their best finishes in almost 20 years. She also served as the head coach at West Los Angeles College from 1997-2001 and coached them to a winning record and post-season competition. Additionally, Tisdom has over 16 years of coaching, serving as director and owning club teams, which includes time with six different teams. She was part of the start-up program development team for the Starling Volleyball Club.

Tisdom earned her Bachelor’s degree in 1993 and Master’s degree in 1996 from National University in San Diego. Tisdom and her husband LaVel have been married 29 years and live in Diamond Bar. They had two children – LeVaughn and LeMar.
