A recent graduate of Niagara University, where she was a two-year starter, Madison May is entering her first season as a Falcon assistant coach. May, the daughter of Cerritos men’s basketball head coach and interim Dean of Athletics Russ May, she spent her freshman year at Cal Poly Pomona before moving on to Cypress College, where she was the Orange Empire Conference Co-Most Valuable Player. She was named All-Southern California as a sophomore, while she also helped the Chargers reach the CCCAA State Championship Final Eight that season.

A graduate of Los Alamitos High, May helped the team win the CIF Division I Southern Section California State Regional Championship, as well as the CIF Division I Southern Section championship. They advanced to the finals of the state championships.

May is also an assistant coach for the Seal Beach Volleyball Club.

May, 22, earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Political Science with a minor in Pre-Law and Women’s Studies from Niagara University in May, 2018.
