Beginning his second season on the Cerritos College coaching staff is Noah Casaquit. With 16 years of coaching experience, Casaquit has spent time as a member of the Long Beach City College coaching staff (2015) and has also worked with the Cypress College (2011-13) women’s program. In addition, Casaquit has spent time coaching at Graceland (NE) University (2007), Hope International University men’s and women’s programs (2008-11) and served as the head coach of the El Dorado High School boys’ volleyball program from 2010-14. He has also worked with teams representing Hawaii in the HP Championships.

As a player, Casaquit competed at Graceland (NE) University and received All-MAMVIC honorable mention recognition as a freshman. He went on to transfer to Hope International University, where he helped the team reach the NAIA semifinals as a junior and was named to the all-tournament team. Casaquit also earned his team’s Defensive Player of the Year award. In his senior year, he received the Defensive Player of the Year, along with being named to the first-ever NAIA All-American team and was selected the school’s Male Athlete of the Year.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Casaquit earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Hope International University in 2012 and went on to receive his Master’s in Physical Education in 2014.
