Cerritos College Track & Field (2012): Placed 10th in the 5000 meters (16:20.74) and 11th in the 10,000 meters (34:35.96) at the South Coast Conference Championships… Also competed in the 1500 meters (4:32.13) and 3000 meters (9:51.15) during the season…..

Western HS: Posted personal best times in the 800 meters (2:07) and 1600 meters (4:40)… Voted the team’s Most Valuable Player as a sophomore… Spent two years on the track and field and soccer teams and one season on the basketball team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he recorded his personal best time in the 1600 meters at the Orange League Championships… Would like to transfer to Cal State Fullerton… Is the older brother of Munir Kahssay, who will be his teammate this season… Nicknamed “Mufasa”… Is the son of Negib and Zahra Kahssay… Born in Anaheim, CA…..
