Fountain Valley HS: Helped lead the track and field team to three straight Sunset League championships… Voted his team’s Most Valuable Player after competing in the 110-meter HH (15.2), 300-meter IH (40.0) and long jump (21’ 2”)… Voted the Team Captain as a junior and sophomore… Posted a distance of 44’ in the triple jump as a junior… Spent three years on the track and field team and two seasons on the football team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he jumped 44’ in the triple jump at the Berkeley Relays… Is working on a minor in business… Hobbies include spending time with his family… His brother Hassan (20) was a red-shirt with the Falcons last year and is now on the University of Central Missouri track team… Has three other siblings – Summiya (26), Sadia (24) and Omair (22)… Is the son of Khalid and Farhun Ilyas… Born on August 24, 1995…..
