Cerritos College Track & Field (2013): Placed 11th in the decathlon at the State Championships with 5455 points… Finished in sixth place in the decathlon (5919 points) at the Southern California Championships… Also came in sixth place in the javelin (49.32 meters), as well as eighth place in the discus (34.69 meters) and high jump (1.82 meters) at the South Coast Conference Championships… Posted personal best marks in the 100 meters (11.88), 400 meters (52.53), 1500 meters (4:51.55), 110-meter HH (15.82), pole vault (3.89 meters), long jump (6.39 meters) and shot put (10.28 meters)…..

Carson HS:
Helped the team win the Marine League title and finish second as a team at the CIF City Championships his senior year… Also won the league title in the high jump (6’ 2”) and came in sixth at the CIF City Championships… Took sixth place in both the long jump (20’ 11”) and triple jump (42’ 9”)… Spent one year on the track and field and cross country years, along with four years on the baseball team…..

Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he recorded a personal best 42’ 9” in the triple jump to win the South Bay championship… Would like to transfer to the University of Washington… Aspires to be a writer, historian or politician… His brother Timothy (20) was on the baseball team at Los Angeles Harbor College and his brother Joshua (17) is on the track team at Carson High… Hobbies include playing video games… Has another brother – Zachary (23)… Is the son of Eric and Melissa Martin… Born in Washington on May, 22, 1994…..
