Long Beach Poly HS: Won the Moore League championship in the 800 meters (1:55) as a senior… Received the Award of Excellence… Also compete in the 400 meters (49.2) and 1600 meters (4:30)… Was a member of four league championship teams, while they won the state championship his junior season… Also spent four years on the cross country team and one season on the wrestling team… As a freshman on the wrestling team, he was a CIF Qualifier…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he set his personal records… Would like to transfer to either Sacramento State University or UCLA… Aspires to be either a physical therapist or a music professor… Hobbies include painting and playing musical instruments… Has two siblings – Jaime (16) and Carina (15)… Is the son of Sean and Arlene Monaco… Born in Long Beach, CA on October 17, 1994…..
