Cerritos College Cross Country (2013): Helped the team come in fourth place at the State Championships with a 53rd place finish in 21:25.83, while his 82nd place finish in 22:51.47 at the Southern California Championships helped the Falcons finish in eighth place… Earned a seventh place finish at the UCLA Double Duals in a time of 25:12.10, while he took 12th at the San Diego Invitational when he finished in 21:49.20… Ran the Lou Vasquez Invitational in 20:27 to come in eighth place and took second place at the SoCal Preview Meet in 22:45.90… Also came in 29th place at the Palomar Invitational in 23:49…..

California HS:
Competed in the 800 meters (2:04), 1600 meters (4:25) and 3200 meters (9:34)… Earned the Coaches Award as a sophomore and received the Freshman of the Year honor… Spent four seasons on the track and field and cross country teams… Posted a personal best time of 16:04 in a 5K meet at Clovis, while his team came in second place at the state championships… Team qualified for the Nike Cross Country Nationals… Helped them win the Del Rio League championship…..

Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he recovered from an injury to place fifth at the state championships and help his team qualify for nationals… Would like to transfer to either Stanford University or UCLA… Aspires to be a mathematician… Hobbies include studying philosophy… Nicknamed “Mowgli”… Has two siblings – Charles (20) and Gabriel (14)… Is the son of Albert Roldan and Kimberly Martinez… Born in Downey, CA on August 29, 1995…..
