Cerritos College Track & Field (2014): Placed 11th at the Southern California Championships in the 1500 meters after coming in third place in the South Coast Conference Championships (3:58.98)… Also took 10th place in the 5000 meters (15:35.56) at the SoCal Championships… Competed in the 800 meters (2:00.27) and 3000 meters (9:17.83)…..

Cerritos College Cross Country (2014): Placed 47th place overall at the State Championships with a time of 21:16.16, while his time of 20:39.6 earned him a 13th place finish at the Southern California Championships… Was the 12th place runner at the South Coast Conference Championships in a time of 21:24.9, and took fourth place with a time of 20:55.7 at the Brubaker Invitational… Earned a seventh place finish at the Grand Canyon Invitational in a time of 28:43.3 and finished the Golden West Invitational in a 12th place time of 20:37.0… Had a 13th place finish at the SoCal Preview Meet in 20:45.5 and earned a 40th place finish at the Fresno Invitational in 22:02.24… Completed the Mark Covert Classic in 26:40.7 for third place overall…..

Cerritos College Cross Country (2013): Came in 24th place at the South Coast Conference Championships with a time of 21:28… His time of 26:32.80 in an 8K race at the UCLA Double Dual put him in 19th place, while he recorded a time of 23:13.68 to place 102nd at the Golden West Invitational… Finished the Lou Vasquez Invitational in 20:58, which put him in 18th place and came in 17th place at the SoCal Preview Meet in 22:01.52… Opened the season by winning the Palomar Invitational in 21:23…..

La Serna HS: Earned the track and field team’s Most Valuable Player award his senior year and specialized in the 1600 meters (4:22) and 3200 meters (9:50)… Received the Coaches Award as a junior on the track team... Voted the cross country team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior and recorded a personal best time of 15:31 over three miles… Spent four years on the cross country and track and field teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he posted his personal best time in cross country and came in third place in a league race and when he placed fifth at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational… Aspires to be a teacher and coach… His father and uncles all ran cross country and track at Santa Fe High… Hobbies include cycling… Has three siblings – Monica (22), Nick (17) and John (15)… Is the son of Martin and Lisa Lozano… Born in Whittier, CA on March 31, 1995…..
