Cerritos College Cross Country (2015): Came in 172nd place at the Southern California Championships with a time of 24:30.92, while his time of 24:38.4 earned him a 26th place finish at the South Coast Conference Championships… Finished in 38th place at the Brubaker Invitational with a time of 23:34.3, while his time of 25:55.5 placed him 160th at the Golden West Invitational… Came in 22nd place at the SoCal Preview Open Meet with a time of 22:56.8 and he took 91st place in 28:05.04 at the Mark Covert Open…..

Downey HS: Spent three years on the cross country and track and field teams… While on the track team, he was a member of two league championship teams… Specialized in the 1600 meters (4:57) and 3200 meters (10:26)… Was a CIF Qualifier in cross country as a sophomore and placed eighth in the San Gabriel Valley League Championships as a sophomore…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he reached the finals of the league championships in the 3200 meters with a personal best time and his performance at the Woodbridge Invitational on the cross country team… Would like to transfer to UC Irvine… Hobbies include playing the guitar and working on computers… Nicknamed “Paisa”… Has one brother – Ulysses (8)… Is the son of Margorito and Hilda Ayala… Born in Inglewood, CA on August 26, 1997…..
