Cerritos College Cross Country (2014): Placed 51st at the South Coast Conference Championships in a time of 24:19.15, while his time of 24:22.1 at the Brubaker Invitational put him in 100th place… Earned a 33rd place at the Grand Canyon Invitational with a time of 31:18.9 and had a time of 23:39.3 for 137th place at the Golden West Invitational… Took 45th place in the B Race of the Southern California Preview Meet with a time of 23:55.5 and came in 134th place at the Fresno Invitational in a time of 24:38.10…..

Cerritos College Cross Country (2013): Came in 65th place at the South Coast Conference Championships (24:02), while he placed 32nd at the UCLA Double Dual with a time of 30:25.87… Posted a time of 24:10.30 to come in 70th place at the San Diego Invitational, and finished the Lou Vasquez Invitational with a time of 23:40 to finish in 96th place… Placed 49th at the SoCal Preview Meet in 26:57.54…..

Artesia HS: Spent two years on the track and field and cross country teams, along with three years on the tennis team and four seasons on the soccer team… While on the track team, he competed in the 1600 meters (5:18) and 3200 meters (11:16) as a senior… Posted a personal best time of 17:45 as a senior on the cross country team… Earned a Student-Athlete Patch his senior season… Voted the soccer team’s Most Improved Player as a junior…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he posted his personal best time in the one-mile (5:08) at the league championships in track and his best time of 17:45 in a three-mile cross country race at the Arcadia Invitational… Would like to transfer to either Cal State Long Beach or Cal Poly Pomona and aspires to be a civil engineer… Hobbies include playing video games and drawing… Has one brother – Armando (15)… Is the son of Jorge Ayala… Born in Albuquerque, NM…..
