Bellflower HS: Helped lead his team to four straight Suburban League championships… Voted his team’s Most Valuable Hurdler as a senior and sophomore… Specialized in the 110-meter HH (14.84) and 300-meter IH (39.5), while also running a leg of the 400-meter relay (43.1)… Voted the Most Valuable Offensive Player while on the football team his junior year… Spent four seasons on the track and field and football teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was coming in sixth place in the 110-meter HH at the CIF Finals and his time in the 400-meter relays at the CIF Prelims… Hobbies include playing Call of Duty… Nicknamed “Louii Gee”… Has four siblings – Saul (16), Joel (13), Joely (9) and Genaro (5)… Is the son of Joel Salazar and Monica Gonzalez… Born in Paramount, CA on September 8, 1997…..
