Los Angeles Trade-Tech Cross Country (2014): Posted a time of 22:38 at the Toro Park Invitational to come in 23rd place, finished 123rd at the Golden West Invitational in 23:21.0, while his time of 18:30 at the Nevada Twilight Classic earned him a 39th place finish…..

Schurr HS: Was a member of four South Almont League championship teams in both cross country and track and field… Posted a personal best time of 15:36 over a three-mile course as a senior… While on the track team, he specialized in the 800 meters (2:07), 1600 meters (4:38) and 3200 meters (10:14)… Won the league championship in the 3200 meters his senior season…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were winning the league title in the 3200 meters as a senior and going undefeated all season and when he broke the 16-minute mark at the Bell Gardens Invitational to make the school’s Hall of Fame… Is working on a double major with physics… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be an orthopedic physical therapist… His brother Eder (23) is in the cross country and track teams at Western (CO) University, while his brother Flavio (17) is on the cross country and track teams at Schurr High… Hobbies include running… Has one sister – Juliana (11)… Is the son of Jose and Victoria Pina… Born in Montebello, CA on June 14, 1996…..
