Esperanza HS: Named the track and field team’s Most Valuable Player two seasons in a row… Specialized in the shot put (62’ 4”) and finished third in the state as a senior… Named All-Century League in track as a senior and junior… Was also on the football team and earned all-league recognition as a senior and was a member of the basketball team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he came in third place at the state championships in the shot put… Would like to transfer to a school with a good nursing program and a track and field team… Aspires to be a nurse… Hobbies include drawing, listening to music, playing instruments, lifting weights and boxing… Nicknamed “Mega Truong”… Has one sister – Amanda (18)… Is the son of Vanessa Nguyen… Born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on April 14, 1996…..
