Cerritos College Men’s Track & Field (2016): Competed in the shot put (12.15 meters), discus (35.75 meters), hammer (32.80 meters) and javelin (33.48 meters) during the season…..

Fullerton College: Attended Fullerton College out of high school, but did not compete in track and field…..

Esperanza HS: Named the track and field team’s Most Valuable Player two seasons in a row… Specialized in the shot put (62’ 4”) and finished third in the state and second at the CIF Championships as a senior… Won the Century League championship in the shot put and discus… Named all-league in track as a senior and junior… Was also on the football team and earned all-league recognition and voted the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior and was a member of the basketball team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when he came in third place at the state championships in the shot put and set the school record with a 362-pound clean… Would like to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be a physician’s assistant… Hobbies include drawing, listening to music, playing instruments, lifting weights, eating and boxing… Nicknamed “Will”… Has one sister – Amanda (19)… Is the son of Jackie Troung… Born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on April 14, 1996…..
