Santiago HS: Was a three-time CIF champion in the discus (176’), while he won the shot put (60’ 8”) championship his senior and junior years after coming in second place as a sophomore… Also competed in the hammer (212’) and weight throw (71’6 “)… Ranked as the #1 thrower in California three years in a row… Was a member of the Honor Roll…..
