Facing an offensive attack from Sierra College on Friday at the Cosumnes River Tournament, the Cerritos College women's soccer team could not get their offense in gear, and dropped a 3-0 decision. The Falcons (0-2-0) will play the host Hawks at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Sophomore goalkeeper Victoria Ruiz (Applied Technology Center HS) was peppered with shots throughout the game, and did as good a job possible, as she turned away 15 of the 18 shots on goal she faced. Sierra was ready to take a 1-0 game into halftime until a goal in extra time gave them a 2-0 lead at intermission.

The Falcons were only able to take five shots on the day, but none were on goal, Sophomore Jaque Adame (North HS) had three of the team's five shots.
