Cerritos Baseball (2012): Used primarily as a relief pitcher, but also made one start in center field… Appeared in nine games on the mound and was 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA in 16 2/3 innings… Pitched six innings of relief against Fresno City College and allowed three runs, while striking out six batters… Posted three strikeouts against East Los Angeles College in 2 ½ innings of relief… Went 1-for-8 at the plate, with his lone hit coming in the final game of the season against Mt. San Antonio College…..

Bellflower HS: Named 1^st Team All-Suburban League as a senior after going 9-2 on the mound… Was also a 1^st Team all-league pick his sophomore season when he was 5-1 and received his team’s Cy Young Award… Played three years of baseball and was coached by former Cerritos College player Keith Tripp…..
