Alhambra HS: As a senior, he was named the Almont League Pitcher of the Year, as well as the Max West Hitter of the Year… Voted his team’s Pitcher of the Year after going 9-4 with a 1.17 ERA, along with six complete games and three shutouts… Struck out 95 batters in 72 innings and issued just 16 walks… Also batted .363 with eight doubles, 20 RBI and drew 14 walks… Went 2-0 on the mound with 23 strikeouts in 14 innings as a junior, while hitting .294… Voted the team’s JV Pitcher of the Year as a sophomore after going 5-0 with a 0.46 ERA… Spent four seasons on the baseball team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he pitched a no-hitter with eight strikeouts against Bell Gardens High as a senior… Would like to transfer to Cal State Fullerton… Hobbies include working on cars… Has three siblings – Bryan (27), Ryan (26) and Alyssa (15)… Is the son of Arnulfo and Rosa Romero… Born in Arcadia, CA on September 16, 1998…..
