Entering his fourth season as a member of the coaching staff, Junior Alarcon will work with the catchers and serve as the team’s strength and conditioning coach. He came in with six years of coaching experience, which incudes spending the 2014-17 seasons as an assistant coach at Long Beach Poly High, while coaching at Golden West College from 2018-19. In addition to his duties with the Falcons, Alarcon is also an Athletic Performance intern at Cal State Northridge.

A graduate of Long Beach Poly High, Alarcon helped them to the Moore League championship his senior season, while he played for Compton College in 2013.

Alarcon, 28, completed his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Athletic Performance at Grand Canyon University.
