Cerritos Football (2011): Was second on the team with 36 receptions and led the team with 589 receiving yards (16.4 per catch) despite missing one game… Also caught six touchdown passes… Had a season-high seven receptions against Palomar College, while he caught a pair of touchdown passes against El Camino College… Posted a season-high 119 receiving yards in a playoff game against Palomar, including a season-best 72-yard touchdown pass…..

Servite HS: Was an All-CIF selection as a senior after catching 36 passes for five touchdowns… Helped the team to the State Championship and CIF Championship that year…  Named 1st Team All-Trinity League his senior year after earning 2nd Team honors as a junior when he caught 24 passes… Was on the football and basketball teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he caught eight passes for 108 yards against St. John Bosco High and when he walked onto the field at Angel Stadium to see a huge crowd before playing Mission Viejo High… Would like to transfer to Michigan State University, University of Hawaii or the University of Utah… Aspires to be a physician’s assistant… All of his brothers played football… Holds a yellow belt in karate… Likes to hang out with his niece and nephew in his spare time… Nicknamed “Rob”… Has four siblings – Crystal (32), Joe (31), Eddie (28) and Carlos (23)… Is the son of Edward and Donna Abetya… Born in San Pedro, CA on November 11, 1992…..
