St. Paul HS: Passed for 627 yards and four touchdowns, while rushing for 179 yards and two touchdowns as a senior… Also caught two passes for 81 yards… Received the Coaches Award and was 2^nd Team All-Mission League… Earned the Offensive Excellence Award his junior year after passing for 1,562 yards and 12 touchdowns, along with rushing for 585 yards and eight touchdowns… Named 2^nd Team All-Area and 2^nd Team all-league… Earned the Rookie of the Year Award his sophomore season after throwing for 767 yards and seven touchdowns, while rushing for 327 yards and four touchdowns… Team won the CIF Championship that year… Spent four years on the football and basketball teams… Named 2^nd Team all-league as a junior and sophomore on the basketball team… Garnered their Rookie of the Year Award as a freshman…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he passed for 293 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 52 yards against Chaminade High and winning the CIF Championship his sophomore year… Would like to transfer to either Michigan State University or Sacramento State University… Aspires to work for the CIA… His father played football at the University of Alabama… Likes to go boogie boarding in his spare time… Was ranked #2 in California for centers in AAU Basketball 11-and-under division… Has four siblings – Lynnmarie (29), Jackie (28), Jessica (24) and Gabby (13)… Is the son of Paul and Cecilia Lopez… Born in Montebello, CA on September 5, 1991…..
