Bellflower HS: Named to the Press Telegram Dream Team after rushing for 1,383 yards and 12 touchdowns… Also selected 1^st Team All-Suburban League and his team’s Most Valuable Player after helping them win the Suburban League championship… Spent three seasons on the football team and made the varsity team for the final three games of his freshman year… Also spent four years on the track and field team and specialized in the 100 meters, 200 meters and ran a leg of the 4x100-meter relay… Played one season on the basketball team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he rushed for 183 yards and three touchdowns against Cerritos High and leading his team to the league championship as their captain… Would like to transfer to Oregon State University and aspires to be a firefighter, athletic trainer or ATF agent… Likes to play basketball in his spare time… Has one brother – Marques (29)… Is the son of Jacqueline Newberry… Born in Bellflower, CA on May 19, 1994…..
