Cerritos Football (2011): Was a unanimous 1^st Team All-National Division Northern Conference selection as an offensive tackle… Helped the offense set a new school record with 2,664 passing yards and 4,943 total yards on the season… Will help anchor the offensive line this season…..

St. Paul HS: Named 1^st Team All-Mission League and was selected his team’s Best Lineman, Team Captain and played in the 605 All-Star Game… Also earned a Player of the Week award… Was a two-year starter on the offensive line… Team won the CIF Championship and league championship his sophomore year… Spent four years on the football team and three seasons on the volleyball team… Named All-Camino Real League in volleyball both seasons…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was winning the CIF Championship his sophomore year and being voted the team captain and all-league as a senior… Would like to attend any school on the West Coast… Enjoys spending time with family and watching college football and playing beach volleyball in his spare time… Nicknamed “Ruba”… His brother Gary (22) is a defensive tackle at Morehouse University, while his cousin Carlos Lozano is a tackle at the University of Utah… Also has a sister - Sabrina (16)… Is the son of Gary and Terrie Rubalcava… Born in Montebello, CA on March 27, 1992…..
