Cerritos College Football (2023): Voted the team’s Co-Freshman of the Year… Finished second on the team with 54 tackles, while he picked off three passes and returned all of them for touchdowns… Added 3.5 tackles for loss, one quarterback sack and one pass break-up… Also stepped in as a running back for the final two games and rushed nine times for 96 yards and a touchdown… Returned two interceptions for touchdowns against San Bernardino Valley College and another one against East Los Angeles College… In that game, he rushed for a touchdown to become the first player in school history to return three interceptions for touchdowns and also rush for a score… Posted a season-high eight stops against the Huskies, while he had seven tackles in three other games…..

Warren HS: Was a three-time 1st Team All-CIF selection, as well as being named the San Gabriel Valley League Defensive Most Valuable Player all three seasons… Named 1st Team all-league three years in a row… Posted 138 tackles, with five forced fumbles and two interceptions as a senior recording 112 tackles, six forced fumbles and a pair of interceptions as a junior… Finished with 77 tackles and four forced fumbles his sophomore year and had 58 tackles his freshman year… Spent four seasons on the football team and one season on the track and field team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he had 24 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble against Corona del Mar High… Would like to transfer to USC… Hobbies include hiking, paintball and watching military movies… His dad played basketball in high school, while his sister Charisma (26) played basketball in high school… Nicknamed “EJ”… Is the son of Edward and Chrishon Smith… Born in Downey, CA on May 18, 2005…..
