Now entering his third season on the Falcon coaching staff is CJ Arnold, who works with the cornerbacks. In 2012, Arnold served as the defensive coordinator at Bishop Montgomery High after spending two years as the defensive coordinator at San Jose City College. While with San Jose City, he helped coach the team to the Coast Conference championship and victory in the Living Breath Bowl in 2010. Prior to that, Arnold was the special teams and defensive back coach with the Jaguars from 2007-09 after starting his coaching career at San Jose State University as a grad assistant from 2003-06. His coaching career also includes a year in Innsbruck, Austria as a coach for the Swarco Raiders.

A product of Carson High, Arnold went on to play at Los Angeles Harbor College, where he was named all-conference and voted his team's captain. Arnold set three Seahawk records, including most interceptions in a game, most interception return yards in a game and career return yards. Arnold earned a scholarship to San Jose State University, where he was a defensive back and earned a Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week Award.

Arnold, 35, earned his Bachelor's degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Sport Sociology from San Jose State University in 2003 and then his Master’s degree in Sports Management in 2006. Arnold and his bride Alexa Arnold live in San Pedro and were married in the spring of 2014.
