Title: Passing Game Coordinator/Wide Receivers/Tight Ends
Year: 4th
Previous College: Utah State University (2011)

Now in his fourth season as the team's passing game coordinator and working with both the wide receivers and tight ends is former Cerritos College all-conference quarterback Jeffrey Fischer. From 2007-08, Fischer was a member of the Falcons and earned 2nd Team All-National Division Central Conference honors as a sophomore after completing 180-of-282 passes for 2,063 yards, with 23 touchdowns and only four interceptions. His .638 completion percentage still stands as a school record, as do his 180 completions in a season. At the time of his sophomore year, the 2,063 passing yards ranked as the second most in a season, but are now the fifth most.

After his sophomore year with the Falcons, Fischer earned a scholarship to Utah State University. As a junior for the Aggies, Fischer saw action in one game, while his senior year of 2010 was shortened by a shoulder injury he sustained during preseason camp and did not see any action. He moved from the field to the coaching staff in 2011, and served as a student assistant working with the offense and with the quarterbacks. Fischer did not coach in 2012.

A graduate of Lakewood High, Fischer was a Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete as a senior and was selected to the Press Telegram Dream Team and named the Moore League Player of the Year his senior season. That year, he passed for over 2,000 yards and 20 touchdowns and was a four-year letterman in football and three years on the baseball team. In his senior year, Fischer was a member of the Lakewood High CIF Division I championship baseball team.

Fischer earned his Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from Utah State University in 2011, while he finished his Master’s degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Emporia State University in 2013. In the fall of 2014, Fischer was honored as the college’s Part-Time Faculty Member of the Year.
