Joining the Falcons coaching staff for his first season is Jermaine Jackson, who will work with the tight ends and offensive tackles. A coaching career that spans nearly 20 years, Jackson got his start at Schurr High School, where he was the tight ends and offensive line coach from 2006-13 and helped them win the CIF Championship in his first season. He then moved in to Windward High in Los Angeles from 2017-18 and served as their offensive and defensive line coach.
Jackson moved to Long Beach Poly High from 2019-22 as their offensive line coach, where he saw his teams win four Moore League titles and the 2021 CIF Championship. He spent the 2023 season as the offensive line coach at Lincoln (MO) University.
Prepping at Schurr High, Jackson was an All-Area and all-league selection as an offensive and defensive lineman before transferring to Mt. San Antonio College and earned All-Mission Conference recognition for two seasons as a tight end.
He then transferred to Oregon State University, where he spent the 2001-02 seasons as a tight end.
Jackson earned his Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Oregon State University in 2003, with an emphasis in Criminal Justice and a minor in Speech Communications.
Jackson, 47, and his wife of 28 years, Kam, reside in Commerce and have three children – Kelsie (20), Kendall (16) and Mason (13). All three are active in sports.
