Marc Paramo joins the Cerritos College staff and will work with the safeties after spending the last seven season as an assistant on the Pasadena City College staff. He served as their defensive coordinator during both the 2018 and 2019 seasons and also coached the defensive linemen. 

Prior to his time with PCC, Paramo was the head coach at Rosemead High from 2012-16 after serving as their assistant and defensive coordinator from 2000-05. He spent the 2006 season as an assistant coach at St. Paul High.

From 2018-2019, Paramo coached 16 defensive players to All-SCFA honors including 2019 All-State selections in cornerback Kaydon Spens and linebacker Mark Navarro.

Paramo prepped at Rosemead High and after earning a scholarship to the University of San Diego after one season after the passing of his mother.

Paramo earned his Bachelor’s degree in History from UCLA in 2000 and his Master’s degree in Education from Azusa Pacific University in 2008. Paramo, 46, is single and resides in Pomona.
