A former Falcons running back and punt returner, Tavoy Moore begins his second season on the coaching staff. As a sophomore in 2009, Moore was a 1st Team All-Conference selection, which he parlayed into a scholarship at Idaho State University. After playing one season for the Tigers, he transferred to Central Washington University for his senior season. As a junior at Idaho State, Moore was named All-American by the American Football Coaches Association as well as the AP All-American Team kick returner. Additionally, he was selected 1st Team All-Conference and was a 3rd Team Sports Network All-American. Moore had one of the most successful seasons in Idaho State history, as he amassed 2,034 all-purpose yards in 2011. Returned two punts and kickoffs for touchdowns, while also accumulating 252 rushing yards and 421 receiving yards.

Moore then spent two seasons in the Canadian Football League and played for the Edmonton Eskimos (2013) and Hamilton TigerCats (2013-14). Moore was also a four-year letterman at Gahr High School.

He began his coaching career as a member of the Central Washington football staff and has also coached Riverside Pop Warner and Moreno Valley Flag football teams since the conclusion of his playing career.

Moore earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Rhetorical Studies from Idaho State University in 2012.

Moore, 31 is single and has two children – Cevyn (7) and Caleigh (5).
