In his first season as a member of the Falcons coaching staff, Woodie Grayson will work with the safeties. He comes to the staff with 32 years of high school coaching experience that includes Whittier High, Mayfair High, Valley Christian High and Bellflower High.
His career includes a winning percentage of over 70%, while he has led his teams to three CIF Championships, nine league championships and playoff appearances in 27 seasons.
A graduate of Brethren High, Grayson was a three-sport athlete and earned All-Southeast, All-CIF and all-league in multiple sports. He them went to Rio Hondo College, where he was an all-conference selection in football and basketball.
Grayson, 56, resides in Paramount and has three children – Cayla (27), Donovan (20) and Deron (18).
