Bell HS: Played for the City of Bell Hawks and Legends FC club teams… Was a two-time 1^st Team All-CIF selection… Scored 10 goals his senior year after accounting for 11 goals as a junior, while his team won the Eastern League championship… Posted 11 goals as a sophomore and was selected the team’s Rookie of the Year as a freshman after scoring 12 goals… Team finished third in the CIF Playoffs his freshman year… Was on the soccer team for four years and the football team for three seasons, where he was a 2^nd Team all-league pick as a senior…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he scored the game-winning goal in the second round of the CIF Playoffs with five minutes left in the contest… Would like to transfer to San Jose State University, University of Connecticut or Sacramento State University… Likes to play soccer in his spare time… Has two siblings – Mike (15) and Betsy (7)… Is the son of Rodolfo and Beatriz Montoya… Born in Monterey Park, CA on December 26, 1992…..
