Animo HS: Played for South Bay Force, Pateadores Academy and LA Galaxy Academy club teams… Won the national championship with Pateadores his senior year and didn’t play in high school… As a junior, he was named 2nd Team All-Harbor League and scored 12 goals, as the team advanced to the CIF Championship game… Also named the team’s Most Valuable Player and earned the Coaches Award… Was an all-league pick his sophomore season and scored eight goals… Voted the team’s MVP his freshman season…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he scored a pair of goals in the CIF quarterfinal game and another goal in the semifinal game… His father played soccer when he was younger and living in Guatemala, while his brother Andy (22) played soccer in high school… Likes to play ping pong in his spare time… Has another brother – Benji (7)… Is the son of Emilio and Mindalia Payeros… Born in Los Angeles, CA on October 16, 1993…..
