Arna Kilicarslan

Now in his fourth year on the coaching staff, Arna Kilicarslan serves as the team’s strength and conditioning coach. Over the course of his coaching career, he has worked with several different teams, including Mt. San Antonio College softball (2016), FC Golden West Soccer Club (2015), Beach Soccer Club and serving as a UCLA intern in 2015. Kilicarslan has also trained several professional athletes in different sports.

A graduate of Ayala High School, Kilicarslan was a football player and was named their Most Improved Player before moving on to Fullerton College. He went on to play for European Federation of American-Football (EFAF), French Elite League of American-Football (LEFA) and European American-Football League (EFL) for two seasons (2008-10) in Paris, France.

During his time in those leagues, he was a special teams captain and team Most Valuable Player. They were also the 2009 EuroBowl runner-up after winning the Ligue Élite while playing for the La Courneuve Flash.

Kilicarslan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from the American University of Paris in 2009 and a Master’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Cal State Fullerton in 2016.

Kilicarslan, 37, has two children – Alek and Eli – and resides in Whittier.
