Cerritos College Track & Field (2014): Qualified for the Southern California Prelims in the triple jump (13.33 meters) after placing sixth in the South Coast Conference Championships… Also competed in the 100 meters (11.66) and long jump (6.23 meters)…

Fountain Valley HS: Helped lead the track and field team to three straight Sunset League championships… Voted his team’s Most Valuable Player after winning the league championship in the 300-meter hurdles (40.4) and triple jump (43’ 1”)… Also competed in the 110-meter HH (15.2) and long jump (21’ 2”)… Voted the Team Captain as a junior, won the Performance Award and was the league champion in the triple jump… Took second in the league finals as a sophomore and was voted their Team Captain… Posted a personal best distance of 44’ in the triple jump as a junior… Spent three years on the track and field team and two seasons on the football team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he jumped 44’ in the triple jump at the Berkeley
Relays… Hobbies include driving and hiking… His brother Hassan (22) was a red-shirt with the Falcons in 2013 and is now on the University of Central Missouri track team… Has three other siblings – Summiya (28), Sadia (26) and Omair (24)… Is the son of Khalid and Farhun Ilyas… Born in Orange, CA on August 24, 1995…..
