Carson HS: Specialized in the 400 meters (50.1) and 800 meters (1:54.0)… Won the Marine League championship in the 800 meters as a senior, while he also won the LA City championship… Was the LA City runner-up as a junior and came in second place at the league championships in the 800 meters… Competed in the State Meet as a junior and senior… Helped the team win the league championship as a freshman on the cross country team… Was also a member of the football team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were competing in the state meet and when he ran his personal best in the 800 meters at the LA City finals his junior year… Is working on a minor in liberal arts… Would like to transfer to school in either the PAC-12 or SEC… His brother Francis (24) and sisters April (29) and Laura (15) all run track… Hobbies include working out… Nicknamed “Zay”… Is the son of Francis and Patricia Marshall… Born in Long Beach, CA on December 16, 1995…..
