Cal Poly San Luis Obispo: Attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, but did not compete on the track and field team…..

Long Beach Poly HS: Won the Moore League championship in the 800 meters (1:55) as a senior and was a CIF Qualifier… Received the Award of Excellence… Also compete in the 400 meters (49.2) and 1600 meters (4:30)… Was a member of four league championship teams, while they won the state championship his junior season… Received the Most Improved Athlete Award as a sophomore… Also spent four years on the cross country team and one season on the wrestling team… As a freshman on the wrestling team, he was a CIF Qualifier and earned the Coaches Award on the cross country team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he set his personal records… Is working on a minor in music performance… Would like to transfer to Cal State Fullerton… Aspires to be either a sports therapist or musician… Hobbies include drawing, painting and playing musical instruments… Has two siblings – Jaime (17) and Nani (16)… Is the son of Sean and Arlene Monaco… Born in Long Beach, CA on October 17, 1994…..
