Bellflower HS: Voted his team’s Most Valuable Pole Vaulter (12’ 6”) as a senior… While on the cross country team, he posted a personal best time of 19:23.4 over a 2.9-mile course and a time of 20:36.7 covering a three-mile course… Was a member of the track and field team for two seasons and one year with the cross country team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he recorded his best pole vault height at the league finals… Is working on a minor in mathematics… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be either an engineer, physicist or astrophysicist… Hobbies include playing the piano… Has four siblings – Cristian (16), Anthony (10), Andrea (8) and Andrew (8)… Is the son of Juan Olivarez and Glady’s Espinoza… Born in Mexico on September 27, 1999…..
