Cerritos College Wrestling (2013): Placed seventh at the State Championships at 184 pounds after coming in second place at the Southern California Championships… Finished the season 20-10 at 184 pounds and was 4-0 at 197 pounds… Had a 2-2 record at the state tournament and was 2-1 at the Southern California Championships… Posted a 3-2 record at 184 pounds at the Lassen Tournament and won three of his four matches at the Southern Duals… Came in third place at the Santa Ana Tournament with a 4-1 record…..

Calvary Chapel HS: Came in third place in the CIF Championships at 170 pounds and was a Masters qualifier… Voted the Prep League Most Valuable Player his senior year after winning the league championship… Also won the John Glenn Memorial Tournament at 182 pounds… Spent four years on the wrestling and baseball teams… Named 1st Team all-league as a senior on the baseball team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was qualifying for the Masters Meet and helping his team reach the CIF Semifinals in baseball… Would like to transfer to Cal Baptist University and aspires to be a construction manager… Is the younger brother of Bronson (25) and Caleb (24), who both wrestled for the Falcons and then at Cal Baptist… Hobbies include fishing… Has five other siblings – Bradford (22), Wyatt (17), Jewell (16), Grace (15) and Cosette (10)… Is the son of Tom and Janene Gerl… Born in Long Beach, CA on February 10, 1995…..
