Santa Fe HS: Took sixth at the CIF Championships and third in the Del Rio League Championships at 126 pounds as a senior… Placed fifth in the 5 Counties Tournament… Won the league title at 120 pounds his junior season… As a sophomore, he won the league title at 113 pounds and his team took second place at the CIF Dual Meet Championships… Spent four seasons on the wrestling team…..
