Sonora HS: Helped his team win the Freeway League championship his senior year, while he won the league championship at 195 pounds… Posted a 45-14 record, which included coming in fifth place at the CIF Championships… Also won the Mater Dei Classic, finished seventh at the Tournament of Champions and eighth at the Five Counties Tournament… Took second as a senior at the Del Rio League Championships at 184 pounds while wrestling for La Serna High… Placed fourth as a sophomore and freshman…..
