Downey HS: Took third place at the San Gabriel Valley League championships at 160 pounds his senior year after taking third at 170 pounds his junior year… Placed seventh at the John Glenn Tournament and fifth at the Beach Bash… Team qualified for the CIF Team playoffs after placing second at the league championships as a junior… Spent three seasons on the wrestling team…..
