Downey HS: Placed second at the San Gabriel League championships at 120 pounds his senior season… Posted a 24-12 record… Took second place at the John Glenn Tournament… Was the junior varsity league champion at 113 pounds as a junior and went 20-14 on the year… Spent four seasons on the wrestling team……

Personal: Most memorable moment was advancing to the finals of the John Glenn Tournament… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be an athletic trainer… His father player football in high school… Hobbies include riding BMX bikes… Is the son of Martin and Yadira Rubio… Born in Bellflower, CA on April 29, 2001…..
