Downey HS: Competed at both 190 and 215 pounds… Came in second place at the Suburban Valley League Championships at 190 pounds and eighth at the CIF Championships… Finished with a combined 22-12 record as a senior… Won the Arroyo Shootout Tournament at 215 pounds and placed second at the Downey 32-Way Tournament… Spent three seasons on the wrestling team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he came in second place at the Downey 32-Way Tournament… Would like to transfer to Hillsdale (MI) College… Aspires to be either a teacher or real estate agent… Hobbies include solving puzzles and playing chess… Has one brother – Julian (16)… Is the son of Reynaldo and Lourdes Alvarado… Born in Bellflower, CA on October 25, 2006…..
