Now in his third season as an assistant coach Louie Audelo was a
member of the Falcons from 2005-06 and placed sixth at the state
championships at 184 pounds his sophomore year. As a sophomore, he
went 29-10 on the year and also came in third place at the Southern
California Championships, as well as winning the San Francisco
State Tournament. Audelo also finished second at the Sacramento
City Tournament and third at the Cuesta Tournament. In his freshman
year, Audelo posted a 24-16 overall record, including an 18-15 mark
at 184 pounds.
After graduating from Cerritos College, Audelo moved on to Anderson
(SC) University, a Division II school, where he competed for two
seasons.
While at California High, Audelo won the CIF Championship as a
senior, finished second at the Masters Meet and sixth in the State
Championships. Additionally, Audelo won the West Coast Classic and
Tournament of Champions, while posting a 2-2 record at Nationals.
He was also a two-time Del Rio League champion.
