UC Irvine: Attended UC Irvine out of high school, but they do not have a swimming program…..

Bell Gardens HS: Specialized in the 50-yard freestyle (29.0), 100-yard freestyle (1:06) and 100-yard butterfly (1:15), while also swimming a leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay and 200-yard medley relay… As a member of the water polo team, she was named 1st Team All-Almont League as a senior after earning 2nd Team all-honors as a junior… Helped the team win the El Rancho Tournament her junior season… Voted her team’s Offensive Player of the Year as a freshman and sophomore on the junior varsity team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when she turned in her personal best time in the 50-yard freestyle… Would like to transfer to USC and aspires to be an engineer… Six of her cousins competed in water polo and swimming in high school… Hobbies include swimming… Has two siblings – Ashley (23) and Carlos (17)… Is the daughter of Carlos and Alicia Hinojisa… Born in Bellflower, CA on May 8, 1995…..
